By using Occasion.fyi, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These terms are a legal agreement between you and CommVergent Automation LLC.

What Occasion.fyi Does

Occasion.fyi is a reminder and follow-up application. You can:

  • Add people and dates that matter to you
  • Receive reminders before and on those dates
  • Get help with follow-up actions like messages or gift cards
  • Track gift card balances and expiration dates

The information you enter is yours. We store it to provide the service and send you the reminders you request.

Your Responsibilities

When using Occasion.fyi, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information for your account
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Use the service for lawful purposes only
  • Not use the service to harass, spam, or harm others
  • Not attempt to disrupt or compromise the service

Affiliate Relationships

Occasion.fyi participates in affiliate programs for gift cards and other products. This means:

  • We may earn a commission when you purchase through links in the app
  • The price you pay is not increased by our affiliate relationship
  • Purchases are completed on third-party merchant websites, not on Occasion.fyi
  • We are not responsible for the products, delivery, or customer service of merchants

Third-Party Services

Occasion.fyi connects with third-party services including:

  • Gift card merchants and retailers
  • Email delivery providers
  • Authentication services

We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of these third-party services. When you use features that connect to external services, you may also be subject to their terms and policies.

Service Availability

Occasion.fyi is provided as a helpful tool. We work to keep the service running reliably, but we cannot guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted access to the service
  • That all notifications will be delivered on time
  • That the service will be error-free
  • Specific outcomes from using the service

You should not rely solely on Occasion.fyi for critical reminders. We recommend having backup systems for truly important dates.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • Occasion.fyi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service, if any

This includes, but is not limited to, any damages arising from missed reminders, service interruptions, or data loss.

Termination

You can stop using Occasion.fyi at any time:

  • Simply stop using the service
  • Delete your account from the settings page
  • Contact us to request account deletion

We may also terminate or suspend access to accounts that violate these terms or for other reasons at our discretion.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, we may notify you by email or through the app. Continued use of Occasion.fyi after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable U.S. law.
